One could ask: 1) how many of these deaths were caused by shifting patients from hospital beds to care homes? i.e. caused, not by the virus, but by government/health officials panicked reactions to it. 2) what would things have looked like without a lockdown -- eg Sweden, Belarus? I recall for Sweden, the graph has a similar downward slope after a few weeks. and, for those interested in the broader perspective 3) what destruction on people is the lockdown doing -- now and in the longer term? Here, some things can clearly be measured, others estimated.
