"I notice - even here at TLN - that the global panic-screeching seems to have toppled quite a few previously pretty stable commentators into snarling denunciation of anyone who deviates from (their own preferred interpretation of) the current official line about what's happening with covid (despite the near-impossibility at the moment of getting any 100%-reliable information about it). -Feeding the idea that the elite are after your rights and wanting to control you aligns perfectly with their real wishes. The truth is they don't need the masses because mechanisation and computerisation are advanced enough to churn out the goods mainly without workers and if a number are required, well then there's plenty in the far east at a much cheaper rate. No: they don't actually give a shit & would be quite happy for you to exercise those rights in full tomorrow... because those who die as a consequence (as Cummings was quick to note at the planning stage: demographically "useless eaters".) will save them money whilst the rest will be back on the remaining treadmills making them money all the sooner.(-as Boris excitedly noted in his Greenwich speech) -Any fault in that analysis or is it just too un-screechingly prosaic for you without all the excitement of causative or controlling vaccines, Bill Gates, 5G or whatever other mental pish is presently de rigueur?
