I can tell you for a 100% certainty that he didn't die from a Fentanyl overdose; they don't look like that at all. Even bog standard skag overdoses don't look like that. Also heroin ODs, especially Fentanyl or Carfentanyl, don't creep up on you; you fire up, you fall out, you fall down. You don't get up and stroll around, go to the shop, have a run in with the old bill. It's transparent what's going on with this narrative. This constant agnosticism in order to avoid taking issue with a source only seems to happen when the source in question is someone you agree with or is that just me? It's easy enough to examine the main points in that article and find them wanting (I mean read the actual coroner's report for starters [or even better, both of them] and see how the article neglects to mention the full conclusions; cherry picking in other words) and a little bit of browsing shows that it's only the right-wing commentators and sites that are pushing this "he died of a drug overdose" line and the further right they are the more they push it. True, that doesn't mean it's not correct but still, it should be a factor in how you evaluate it. You may be right about hostile armed groups as the right-wing gun nuts are appearing more and more frequently but strangely PCR seems to want to blame "blacks" or "antifa" for that. |
