Well said Willem. Your first sentence..'Disappointing unfortunately, given your usual finely argued articles.' sums up my response on reading John Hilley's article. Quite frankly I could not believe he had written it. It is somewhat confusing and bordering on the hysterical in tone. It seems the polarisation in points of view over this issue is becoming entrenched, however notwithstanding that some views referred to by John may seem extreme; cherry-picking them or taking them out of context and then indicating that they represent the alternative thinking on this issue is not appropriate.
