To my knowledge the only person who may have been booted off this Board was, like me, a Welshman. For my own sins, they say hindsight is a glorious thing, which it certainly is, however, in the first quarter of 2020 the only hindsight we had with regards SARS-COV2 was the 2003 SARS outbreak, one that killed 8% of all infected internationally and some 14% here in Hong Kong - the HKSAR was prompt to act, facemask wearing was encouraged, and, like in many Asian nations where face mask wearing is common place due to pollution, infection rates were considerably lower than in many other locations. Further, whilst i may not trust stats and data coming out of some nation states, i cannot state that for the HKSAR, who shared much data, including that of the effectiveness of vaccines and health impact on a small minority resultant from said vaccines. As someone with severe asthma, it was incumbent on me not to get infected, and thus far, I've yet to be infected by Covid.
