If John Lennon had died while this site was open I'm sure we'd have talked about it, but he's already dead. Nick Turner was a big figure in the free festival/party scene around these parts for many years post hawkwind, playing his sax/leading various groovy ensembles, or even putting free festivals on on his land - much more than just a one hit wonder. Nice bloke too (jammed with him lots of times over the years)
