Well, I've just heard the BBC's chief Russian correspondent being interviewed on the World Service. It seems like British Intelligence has access to what's being discussed inside the Kremlin, Steve? Putin is losing the war in Ukraine and his position is increasingly tricky. Russian television is full of anti-western propaganda, which has poisoned the minds of ordinary Russians filling them with hatred of the West. Hasn't British military intelligence published an unoffical opinion poll that indicates that only about 20% of Russians support Purin's war in Ukraine? Yes, that seems about right. Most Russians clearly don't support the war. It's sad that Russians now think the entire West is their enemy and are reluctant and afraid to talk to western journalists. Many of our old sources have chosen to leave Russia, alas. Russians used to be warm-hearted and friendly, now they have become so suspicious of the West. It's heartbreaking. The Russian army is demoralized because it's so cold at the front and they are losing on the battlefield.
