If I understood correctly a comment by Dmitri Orlov a while ago, every fuel comes alongside every other fuel via the process of fractional distillation of crude oil. So if, say, lighter aviation fuel were replaced entirely with some biocarbon, yet, say, diesel was not replace to the same extent, after the fractional distillation of crude, the lighter products would just accumulate unused. It seems there may be a need to replace all fuel types, to an equal extent across the spectrum from asphalt to naptha, globally. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fractional_distillation#/media/File:Crude_Oil_Distillation.png
