The slightly reassuring thing was the many comments on "our side". but we are few and they are many..... The only important question is, will this mad rhetoric takes us to WW3, or is there somewhere in the US, or perhaps Europe (just one big European nation such as France or Germany, opting out of NATO for instance) one powerful sane person whose voice can be heard about the clamour?
