Using Statista (https://www.statista.com/) and rounded off, in 2020 for males (say): Life expectancy: France 82 USA 77 China 77 Retirement age: France 62 USA 66 China 60 No. of years in retirement: France 20 USA 11 China 17 Now, you say: You can't use the retirement age and compare with "life expectancy" because one you reach retirement age, you've already survived to 65 or 67. These figures from Statista assume that one reaches one's retirement age and have a number of years left until one's demise. Otherwise you need another metric (about reaching the retirement age). What metric do you propose?
