It's sobering and rather depressing reading, but, such is life, though one would rather it wasn't. Substantial, structural, radical change; seems a long, long, way off in Britain, as an example. Corbyn's term was the last, nostaligic, puff of Laboour as democratic socialist force. That's all over now and no one like him will ever be allowed anywhere near power again, not in our lifetimes at least. Now, what one has to 'look forward to' is the system crumbling and failing from within, a complete loss of credibility and structural integrity, that may provide a space for opposition and change, because people will have no alternative but to act to defend themselves and challenge the ruling elite. 'Revolution' by default.
