I spent a couple of years in Indonesia too. Here's just one example of students rising, against the US's boy in this case; something he thinks ONLY happens when the US is behind it. https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/1998/04/indo-a28.html I'm not sure how your reply is meant to refute any of my points let alone the one quoted. I didn't say the clenched fist symbol wasn't created by some US front; I said his idea that anything like it (and the manga memes) proved US meddling as they could never come up with it themselves was absurd. I also didn't claim that there isn't colour revolution pushing going on. I'm not really trying to incite an argument but the things I noted brought down what was otherwise some good work. I like him but he's also super dodgy when it comes to the monarchy in Thailand. |
