I'm essentially onside with the US meddling and colour revolution being manufactured but I was pointing out some of the flaws in the logic. He seems to think that if there is any demonstrations/rioting then it has to be the US meddling and presumably the rest of the time everyone is singing Kumbaya and loves the government. That's ridiculous and marred the impact of the majority of the rest of it which as I said was pretty good. Indonesia in particular is so diverse with so many ethnic, religious and geographical identities that people are always unhappy with some other group; the Pancasila works quite well but it isn't perfect (the religious pogroms in Central Sulawesi in 2010s (maybe earlier or later) for example). |
