.....strait down the rabbit hole again. This is called "stirring the pot", the last thing we need presently. Just dive into those deep waters, and don't hit your head on a rock you didn't see.

He is right though that the "deep state" rhetoric is appalling, but so then is Trump's, isn't it George? The US deserves everything it gets, but do we? As the US's poodle, we probably do and Starmer will willingly allow its master to take us down with it.

However GG does rather better later on, calling American in the grip of a messianic cult. In this Christopher Hedges, above, would certainly agree.

GG said something similarly conspiratorial-ish about voting irregularities in light of the recent General Election. But without proof or a convincing argument it just comes across as sour grapes.

On the other hand, GG has not shied away from discussing 9/11 twin towers attack which was with, from memory, a prominent architect.

He definitely needs to revisit this topic again as it's such a pressing and epoch defining moment which he has only covered once before as far as I'm aware.

GG said something similarly conspiratorial-ish about voting irregularities in light of the recent General Election.

I was under impression that he had instructed his solicitors to raise it with the regulatory authorities that there were some sort of voting irregularities. From that perspective it is not conspiratorial and secondly he could not talk about it in detail.

As to speculating about Trump's attempted assassination, he *was* speculating. But then the whole internet is rife with theories.

GG is suing ITV for not inviting GG on leaders' debates on the grounds of discrimination and / or impartiality as he was an MP at the time and ITV had scheduled Farage who was not even an MP at the time.

But GG had specifically mentioned voting irregularities as separate from the above on his Sunday show after the election.

Quite honestly I was on auto pilot and may have conflated the two issues. I guess, this latter issue may sound conspiracional, but unless he raises it as a legal issue it may be a nothingburger. Otoh, with GG's political nous, he probably smelled a rat and said so. I am inclined to believe him.
