I didn't vote because there was unfortunately no-one who represented anything I could support.

Otherwise I'm no "abstainer" but all for voting and indeed for everybody voting. Removing the working class franchise is what the gangsters want: like the 450,000 that photo ID weeded out: or you removing yourself.

What franchise? FPTP negates the votes of about 90% of the electorate.

-66% at the last election as opposed to 56% in 2019...but a majority also negates: 52% negates 48% of the electorate.

Even with a majority you still get dumb shit happening: We need a new media.

No idea how you reach that figure. As above the defecit in achieving majority rule (51%) is presently 17%. Under the Tories previously it was 7%.

Generally 30 to 40% get what they voted for which is usually Tory.

As commented elsewhere voters are creatures of deeply ingrained habit. They vote for for the parties their parents did...as though it defined part of their identity. I've mentioned before the lady in some rural town a few years back who was a Tory voter but agreed with all of the prospective policies put to her and was most surprised to find they were those of demonic Cornyn and Labour.

-Yet you can bet you last pound that at the GE she still went on to vote Tory.

There is an idea behind this that are merely voting for stability and continuity..it's in the name: "Conservative". Unfortunately for these voters the party changed under Thatcher to something expousing radical change instead.

Think of all the votes in safe seats. If the runner-up got 6,000 votes, 6,001 of the winners votes count and the rest don't. Note also that you ignore the abstainers, even though they are electors and note also that you mentioned the masses of people refused a ballot because of the ID fraud. Oh and then there's the postal vote fraud. As a proportion of the electorate, The Sturmers got about a nominal 20%. Only fools and frauds vote in FPTP elections.

-They aren't "electors" even if on the Electoral register. They didn't vote therefore didn't elect anyone. Why is it you can't seem to get into your head the difference between potential & actual?

And the reason they don't "count" is because counting votes that aren't made is either subjective whimsy or in real life is generally known as fraud.
Otherwise there's nothing to say about what they believe because you don't actually know.

Sophistry, an elector is someone with the right to vote. It is obvious that people who boycott a vote are boycotting it, whatever the reason, ignoring us is undemocratic precisely because people vote for reasons and abstain for reasons. Behaviour has meaning.

After non voters and transfer voters have been eliminated, only a quarter of the population of the UK has representation by one of the three largest parties, who enjoy 92% of the seats in Parliament. This is, astonishingly, presented to the world as stability.

This unsustainable stitch up is an opportunity to anyone to promote an alternative.

The actual figures were widely available:

Last time I looked Labour got 33.9% Tories 23.6 % and Lib Dems came in at 12.1%. That's about 70% of the vote.

The representatives they got from that vote are in fact well out of kilter with the % of vote at about 93%. So in terms of voters the opposite of what he says is the case.

We are all apt to get carried away with the apparent uniqueness of our talents and thinking. I'm often reminded of the story of Picaso visiting the cave art at Altamira. When he emerged shaking his head he was asked his opinion. Picasso replied:

I would imagine in this case he is referring to your slogan "behaviour has meaning" ...most especially as whatever the reason or indeed lack of one concerning voting or not, any proposed hypothetical "meaning" is essentialy irelevant: it doesn't count aside from statistically under "turnout" where it is as a negative.

On parliamentary abstentions where known numbers create a different story, Frank Maguires infamous one in the vote of no confidence 1979 did have some effect as It brought down Callaghan & Labour. It has been explained variously as deliberately political, being unavailable because he was locked in a toilet, being rat-arsed on whiskey or being told to do so by his wife: the jurists of history are still working out the real "meaning" of his "behaviour" 40 odd years later.

-- Doesn't surprise me in the least. One of the electorate's most damaging idiocies is the way millions of them vote for sweatshirts rather than their contents, and switching from a blue one to a red one is for many a literally unthinkable act. On top of which there is the drag-anchor of information resistance: it will take 'normal' people literally 40 years to notice a meaningful change like the Labour Party turning totally Tory: for (again) millions of them, 'Labour' remains what they heard it was 40 years ago.
