"Inappropriate sexual comments" the new non-crime 'crime' & Schroedinger's Women simultaneously....

As Ken W notes further down the Board apropos the Greg Wallace/'Masterchef' kerfuffle, "inappropriate sexual comments" are the new non-crime 'crime'. I'm interested in the Schroedinger's Women who are invariably involved in these sort of accusations. You know, the women who are at one and the same time strong, independent, fearless, trail-blazing, not just the equal of any man but his better while simultaneously being so fragile, delicate and fragrant that they wilt, suffering huge harm when faced by a 60-ish bloke telling an off-colour joke.
I suspect that 'Masterchef' has long been in the BBC's sights since it suffers from an unforgivable condition - it's hosted by two white straight guys. I've no doubt Kirsty Wark and pals will garner Wallace's scalp and he'll be replaced probably by an ultra-camp gay man, the BBC having no interest in non-camp gay men.
And here's the thing - on those shows where a presenter is ultra-camp, there's usually quite a lot of sexual innuendo in the banter. Object to that as 'unprofessional' or find it embarassing and you'll be denounced as a nasty, vile homophobic bigot. See how it works?

She was of course one of Sturgeons "Idpol and Thought Police" crowd, cheerleading the assassination of Salmond on similar grounds.
I remember vividly one early brouhaha that ran for days in the press about the similarly "inappropriate" "sexualized" comments made by Salmond which were shocking enough to create a media reportable "incident" at Edinburgh Airport: the words he uttered apparently so unreapeatable that the media were not prepared to even put them in print.
And what did they turn out to be?
A young lady whose high heels set of a security detector alarm...to which Alex apparently quipped: "-Killer heels...? "
-I thought it witty...that they on the other hand thought it near criminal illustrated to me just how dour, soulless and petty the worldview of these people actually was.
Kirsty "Witch Hunter" Wark was not so keen on THIS gay man a decade ago...

Alas...married twice...five children and as author of "The First Blast of the Trumpet Against the Monstruous Regimen of Women" the most unlikely source of inspiration you could ever chose for the Feminist/Idpol Sturgeon Wark clique.

It was, as far as I am aware, a pervasive form of puritansm and Calvinist in nature (due in large measure, I assume, to John Knox’s tutelage under Calvin):
Some quotes: “They set clear guidelines for courtship and engagement, and firm restrictions on pre-marital sex and consortium”
“They punished adultery, rape, fornication, prostitution, sodomy, and other sexual felonies with growing severity. They put firm restrictions on dancing, sumptuousness, ribaldry, obscenity, dissolute songs, literature and plays”
“Calvin grounded various rules against illicit sexual unions”
“Calvin condemned as monstrous vices sodomy, buggery, bestiality, homosexuality ..”
“The obvious case of adultery was sexual intercourse or any other form of lewd sexual act with a party not one’s spouse”.
It just goes on and on and on like this.
Do you see my point now? I can see that you may have your own point of view, but as a non-expert that is my understanding of the Scottish puritan tradition - as part of the mainstream religion of Scotland, historically, as opposed to the more fringe practice of puritanism in England (who later shipped off the US anyway). And these things transmit down the generations everywhere. So when Kirsty Wark throws an accusation, this is what I see it harking back to, and when Alex Salmond had to take on a whole host of quite mild accusations this is also what I see it harking back to. You are welcome to call it coincidence if you wish.

This is what harassment allegations are for, to get rid of people without them doing anything wrong, except for 'evoking a perception of harassment' in someone else. What a squalid way of depriving people of the presumption of innocence.The last working-class hero in England.
