I have used Forte products for some years now and was convinced some years back by a demonstration on the Timken Bearing Tester of the high quality lubricant used in Forte Motor Flush. The theory is that the lubricant coats the wearing parts and the other ingredients help to remove the gunk and hold it in suspension in the old oil. I think that any flush of this type left after an oil change would be residual and could not affect the new oil fill negatively or even significantly. I have achieved good results with their other products too and they have, I will admit, added to my profits. Injector cleaners are designed to dissolve deposits (varnishes & gums) which are left by fuel contact over a period of time and they are not filtered-out by any fuel filter. Remember the yellow varnish-like stuff in the old carburetor days. Petrol wouldn't dissolve that, you had to use the lethal carb-cleaner aerosol. I would not use any product just to boost my profits but have to believe that the product provided a benefit to my customers as well. This debate will go on I am sure - hope to see you at the ATS on the 24th chaps ! Regards, Steve PS - Meet under the clock - wear a red carnation and carry a folded copy of The Times !!
