I suppose the bottom line is that people who regularly dismantle engines would be able to attest to the difference between flushing and not flushing, but I don't think I want to start doing that to prove a point. Peter's comment about making the oil look cleaner...well, it will actually be cleaner if it looks that way and surely it will do its job better starting off in a cleaner engine. In the end you have to do what you believe is best for your own customers. That hinges on whether you believe what the manufacturers tell you about what their products can achieve.
