The point about the Forte flush is that it is not mainly a solvent and the lubricant means that you could drive the car with it in the oil for badly contaminated systems. If you don't use flush you will have dirty oil remaining in those important little places anyway. I also think that, as one post commented, it's not so essential to flush these days. The flushing frenzy grew in the 80s, when the CVH engine used to sludge-up at the drop of a hat. That was mainly due to defective oil technology. I had a 1600 Cavalier that died at 200,000 miles, and that was from corrosion. Sounds like I work for Forte now....I'll shut up!
