Forst let’s answer the question asked then comment on Dave’s thoughts. 1) Sac State, 2) it is unfortunate that the people running our university do not understand that athletics is the major marketing factor in selling the university to people outside the university and more importantly to its alums. The people mentioned do give a sh*t about academics. They only care about what they read on the internet snd for us mature folks what we see in the newspapers and see on the TV. Do not get me wrong academics are very important, but they do not market the university in the mainstream, only athletics dis that. As long as we have narrowed visioned leaders ee will continue to slide downward. We are nearing the last and final chance to correct this situation in light of the Power 4 complete takeover of the Ncaa. Conoly it is time to wake up. Blunt but truthful.
