I wonder how much longer Poly will have a FB team as every non P-4 public funded school says they have major budget issues.

Cal Poly has rounded out their sports program. They are nationally competitive in the XC realm, have popped in other sports such as baseball, and were solid across the board in women's sports. Good for them.
They have been terrible in the two that matter to them, football and men's basketball.

How long has Poly been in the BW? FIRST EVER COMMISSIONERS CUP. That says it all. They play in a s**t basketball gym. Hell LBCC has a better gym than Cal Poly. They have not added much in all the time they have been in the BW. One year doesn't make up for the other 10 plus garbage years. Previous Message

Shark people have been crying about us going D2 for the past 10 years or so and yet we are still here. I hope Poly does leave as there teams are garbage and they add nothing to the conference and MBB wise they bring our ratings down because they stink. Previous Message
Unfortunately it is too late.The seeds have been sowed. Jane is not attending the women's volleyball games. I do not expect her to attend much else this year. She closed her "no barriers" campaign. The damage has been done.
I expect Davis and Slo will leave the Big West. Davis had previously at one time was talking about removing sports completely. I expect the Big West Conference to become a Division 2 conference due to the schools lack of funding to be competitive in Division 1.
