Some changes need to happen, like players need to sign contracts.

International soccer leagues have a transfer fee for what you describe. Unfortunately doubt the collegiate hierarchy would agree to a similar approach

Agree. The midmajors have sat back and taken it for far too long.

Been thinking about the economic discrepancy between the P4 and the rest of the herd. Now the P4 can poach and pay for non-P4 athletes that gained their skills and experiences at non-P4 schools with no compensation to the university. It cost the nonP4 schools money to recruit, train and play the athletes that are purchased via NIL. I suggest the P4 schools should compensate the non-P4 with twice the amount of money they via NIL to recuperate the cost they incurred.
This system now in place is a form of slavery where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The non-P4 are the slaves to the rich P4 schools. We are working our butts off to find train and play athletes, it cost money and we should be compensated for the work we have done. I’m sure a suit to this effect would work, as long as we stay in the NCAA. It would be costly, however there are more non-P4 schools than the opposition. Pooling resources could make it work. The payoff is important to long term viability.
Bitterly should be pursuing this approach with other mid and lower universities. Starting tomorrow would be OK. David can defeat Goliath. I think if Bobby is worth the money he would be on the phone with Butterly asap. Earn it Bobby. Any thoughts?
