Her leg and growth plate is broken. Supposedly without surgery she won’t have use of that leg.

She’s actually very comfortable, vet gave her a shot of pain killer and anti inflammatory of some sort. Pain killer will last 3 days.

Surgery can’t be done at my vet. Must go to specialized orthopedic doctor. An hour away. I called to see if they do surgery on weekend and how to appproach. They don’t. So I am not bringing her to sit there til Monday.

They said to come very early Monday and after they examine her, they may get her in for surgery that day. Said to be there at 6 am, means I must leave here at 5.

Estimated cost of surgery is $3500-5500. Dave is Not happy about the cost, but he does say we Have to do it if that’s all that will help her.

She’s just a baby. She has to have a life. Still the surgery scares the crap out of me. Daves upset about the cost, I’m upset about the surgery. I want to ask some questions and the what if’s of letting it heal on own or not. I just don’t know. Poor little thing. There are negatives to the surgery too from what I’m reading. So what to do?
