I'm hoping to gain from your experience on GSH:
I've been working my way up in dosage taking GSH orally (the GSH that is buffered for inhalation hasn't arrived from the USA yet), and I've gone through a few phases.
First I had really bad asthma, but it did pass, then I had some bleeding that went on for a few days. I don't bleed much from the lungs so it was fairly clear to me that it was as a result of taking the GSH, but I persisted as I felt that it was helping me in other ways-- I had less secretions, and more energy.
After a few days all the bleeding stopped, and I felt fine (and good). Now at week 3 of still only being on 1500 mg (I weigh 120 lbs--so should be on about 3600 mg), i have developed shortness of breath. This is something that I have never had before. I normally run several times a week and play a lot of sport. I also have an FeV1 that is close to normal. Currently I feel out of breath for about a minute after I walk up a flight of stairs and when I play sport right now I feel like I'm not certain I can make it through the match.
My question to the board is--has anyone else had this happen to self or their child? Or has anyone heard of this happening? Does it pass? The other side effects all passed after a few days, but this is possibly the scariest.
Thanks,
Ange
