What are people's typical reaction to your dog/s?

Do they admire something about them, for example, their behavior, friendliness, looks, etc.?

Do they just basically ignore them?

Or, do they feel negatively about them because of something like their breed?

Mostly, people comment on Krypto's looks, if anything, and that he's pretty good around them. Though, I've had people worried because of his size. When Dh opens the top of the Dutch door, rather than going out, Kryto usually stands next to him, on his hind feet. Because Dh doesn't always stand 100% straight due to his back, Krypto is almost the same height as Dh.

I've not had the feedback on Hira that I have on Krypto as yet, but she seems easier to have no comment on. She doesn't jump, doesn't tend to bark - though there have been a couple of exceptions, she's smaller than Krypto, and she's standing next to Krypto. He's the one that captures the attention for various reasons, whether you love him, or are nervous around him.

In general, I've found that a lot of people have either had a GSD, or else have known someone who had one. And, most people's feelings about the breed are positive, if sometimes wary.
