Nathosot grinned and motioned the elementalist and swordsman to follow.
Irzen motioned for Alyson to follow Nathosot while he brought up the rear.
Over on the other side Nathosot signaled his kin to stay quiet while Alyson went about picking the locks on the manacles. "Okay. Done. Now comes the fun part. I need all of you to hold hands so I can meld us out of here and over to the other side."
Nathosot shrugged, "I hope this trick of yours gets my kin out of here quietly."
"It will." She said as the whole group of gnomes merged with the stone and reemerged over on the side where Lazheros was waiting.
"Go and get the swordsman, Alyson." The bronze man said quietly as he showed them the way out.
The elementalist melded with the stone again popping up behind the swordsman, "Okay. Done...where's Nathosot?"
"Wait a minute!" Irzen scratched his head, "I thought he joined hands with the rest of his folk and melded out of here with you?"
Their gnome companion was no where to be found until his screams echoed throughout the mine.
"Oh, great! Just great!" The Swordsman hissed as he drew forth his sword and headed in the direction of the screams, "Go back to the others and make sure those Gnomes get out of here. I'll go after Nathosot and bring him back--dead or alive."
"Uh, you forgetting something, Irzen? We're not grownups at the moment, we're kids. Let's use that to our advantage." The tiara's red gem glowed on her head.
"Fine!" Irzen slid his sword back into its sheathe.
"What's going on?" Serna asked no one in particular.
From across the way near the glowing crystal, the overseer stepped forward holding Nathosot by his tunic. "Come out! Come out where ever you are! I know this sniveling gnome has friends here. Surrender, you are hopelessly outnumbered!"
Lazheros held up a finger to be quiet and pointed to the big bad boss over yander.
"Rats! He knows we're here." Serna hissed at Lazheros before she smiled with a grin, "But he doesn't know how many of us there are. Laz, can you create illusions of us that can confuse and distract him and his Bullywugs while I go and get Nathosot?"
Irzen looked over to Alyson, "Get back to the others. I'm going to go out there and distract the overseer. While I'm doing that move yourselves into position so you can ambush the guy and his goons. Don't worry, I'm not going to use my sword but I am going to pick up a heavy rock and throw it at him if I have to. Okay?"
"Sure," She quipped disappearing into the stone again and popped up on the other side.
"What's he doing?" Lazheros whispered.
"Doing what drow do, I guess." Alyson popped up next to the Bronze Man, "we need to distract the Overseer long enough for Irzen to do his thing. So, Serna what's the plan?"
Irzen boldly stepped out of his concealment and into the open to face the Overseer,"Gu'e dos dalharuk d'natha B'ahlach skrel ukta harl lu'pict pholor foluss dosst ehmtu zise!"
"Oh no." Alyson face palmed.
The Overseer turned around with a grin in full view of the swordsman. This eight foot tall being was humanoid in appearance except for the extra set of arms that ended in long needle point claws combined with a leathery wing attached to them. This pale skinned creature held the Nathosot out towards Irzen, "Ah, here is but one of the intruders. Where is the rest of your friends?"
"What in the Realm?!" Serna asked no one in particular as Irzen seemingly began to challenge the Overseer in the Drow tongue, "Okay, well I guess Irzen is going to distract the Overseer. Here's what we're going to do. We're going to take down those Bullywugs that are supporting that mean, nasty Overseer. While our Swordsman is distracting the Overseer, spread out, sneak up on and jump any Bullywug you come across. Okay?"
The bullywugs immediately turned towards the swordsman and advanced spears pointed forward until one of them tripped from a stone that popped up colliding with the ones in front.
Alyson snickered a little too loudly when Lazheros clamped his hand over her mouth.
"Quiet."
Translation: "Hey, you son of a Beholder, put him down and pick on someone your own size!"
"For shame, young drow," The Overseer snapped his fingers and the rest of the bullywugs charged towards Serna, and Alyson but didn't see Caliaphy, or Lazheros.
Nathosot managed to blurt out something, "Ring the bell...urk!"
"Now. Now. Now, no telling these brats--!!" The Overseer sneered and was cut short when he grasped his ears in pain.
The bronze man hit shield with his hammer a second time, "We must save Nathosot! Irzen, if you would the honors!"
