The wife really wanted the Marianas. She lost the battle. St Johns is really close to St Thomas. My best friend has property in St Thomas. She promised a rental slot for us while we build across the bay. Permits are challenging on st Johns. 1/2 the island is wild life sanctuary. The family I know on st. Johns has a parcel they'll lease to me with the condition they inherit the small house we're building. Contracts are crossing in the mail as I type.

It'll probably be end of summer when we go. Arrive just in time for peak hurricane season. Yee-haw!
