For me, I think continuity is a good thing for this coaching cycle. We need to keep Flores as DC and try to keep the rest of the gang together as well. The one I worry about is Kwesi. I'm not sold on him AT ALL. Even KOC kind of threw him under the bus after the Detroit game. He's right, our interior OL is terrible and you cannot win with what we have on the oline. I'm hoping that KOC got a little more control over the roster with this contract. If that's the case, I'm wondering if Kwesi gets butt hurt and walks away?? I think things are pretty positive for the perps going forward. I'd be disappointed if we had a lame duck coach next year or we let him go and blew it up and started all over again. I think we have a good foundation, now it's time to build on it. Oh, and I mention continuity because I'm really impressed with what Tomlin has done in Pittsburgh over his tenure. It's something like 20+ seasons in a row of never having a losing record. Let that sink in...that's pretty amazing in this day and age of the NFL. |
