Really cannot see the point in that, brake lights that come on when you brake, absolutley fine, but staying on when stationary, what a stupid idea, if an oncomming driver cannot see a car stopped in front of them with their normal lights on then they didnt ought to be driving.

Guess this a a "safety feature" that the car manufacturers have come up with
