I have come to the crossroads with my car and debating whether to sell or keep my ’67 SS.

In order to make my decision I would like to get a ballpark value for my car and the stash of parts I have accumulated… so your knowledge and expertise would be much appreciated.

Here is the scoop on the car….

It is an original SS 327 - Butternut yellow with a black vinyl roof. Currently there is a 454 4 bolt main “high performance” block in the car with the original 327 in my garage on a stand. Was running great until an overheating issue happened, so it will need some work. Many $$ were put into the build.

It’s all original and all there, the only exception being that it was painted around 1980 or so, and some bodywork is starting to show. This is a ‘brass hat’ car from the day…. has just about every option offered in 1967 with the exception of headrest seats. Some highlights include:

* Power driver’s seat
* Full gauge package
* TH400 with the 12 bolt rear
* Tilt wheel with the wood steering wheel.
* AM/FM Stereo with the 8 track and multiplex
* Power windows
* Disc brakes (currently has a ’69 set up installed) - Have the original 2 piston set up in a box.
* Comfortron Air Conditioning
* Deluxe seat belts with the shoulder belts

The list goes one…. I think I counted over 40 options on the car. When the engine was running great I would say it was a solid #3. Great driver/10 footer. Needs to be enjoyed as is or taken to the next level.

Where it gets more interesting is my list of RARE parts that I have accumulated over the last 20 years. My plan was to restore this car into an SS427 clone.

Some SS427 Specific parts include:

* Domed Hood - Very Good
* Domed Hood Bezel Re-chromed - Excellent (all studs intact)
* SS427 Trunk Moulding (coupe) - Good
* SS427 Trunk Moulding Letters - NOS
* SS427 Gauge Cluster - full gauges including 5500 RPM Tack - Excellent

* 3904632 Hood lip moulding NOS - in GM wrapper
* 3904643 Front trim vertical piece - driver side NOS - in GM wrapper
* 3904644 Front trim vertical piece - passenger side NOS - in GM wrapper
* 3904634 Eyebrow Trim - passenger side NOS - in GM wrapper
* 3904633 Eyebrow Trim - driver side NOS - in GM wrapper

At this point I’m NOT interested in selling off the parts…. just trying to determine the approximate value of what I have.

If I were to sell, I would like to sell the whole lot as a package.
