If the kid was really good and if his coach was worth half a toot, he would have made the kid known to the nearest newspaper or TV station. It is possible to try to walk on at a major school, and get on the team if you are good enough, and be offered a scholarship if you are great. But about as much chance as being noticed in a small school unless you are really good. And to be able to say you played college football at a tiny school will only be impressive to people who know it exists. Go somehwere for the best education you can get. Damned few people make any money from football.
