The closest picture I've seen that resembles the intruder is a "mapache" because of the furry long tail and broad furry head; however it translates to "raccoon" and this was bigger and different body contour than any I've seen in Canada! Also this one seemed to be all black and I didn't see any ring markings on its coat, but then I have only seen it in the dark.
