I agree with both posts. There are warning signs regarding the condition of our locar racing community. The stands & the pits were far from capacity last nite. When you start the night with 19 X Mods & end the feature with 8 running there is something going on that needs to be addressed. No matter the division I doubt anyone is getting rich racing at the grass roots level. There comes a tipping point where cost vs level of enloyment is at hand. If costs are extreme the division loses cars, plain & simple. Is it the track conditions? The carnage on the track? The payout? The lack of respect racers have for one another? Too many classes without enough cars? The economy? The cost for just attending a race? A combination of some or all the above? As a group I think it's time to revisit the FUNdamentals of local racing & get the enthusiasm back.
