i love it!!! thanks for your great response nfn. so... a workshop in nyc... , why not?!! it's only a plane ride away... and i've always wanted to visit!! i guess the only restraint is cost... but anyway i'll certainly keep it in mind as a strong possibility as we progress with planning the workshops. so (excuse my lack of north american geography here) are nyc and the tri-state region pretty close to each other. i know marty mentioned being available in the tri-state region, so if you're both up for a workshop, well that's two already! ...and the first person who ever started posting regularly on this message board was a fab person by the name of 'glittergirl' who also lived in nyc (but then that was a few years ago now and unfortunately her posts have long since dropped off the bottom of the board). anyway, she might be interested.

thanks for the info on the twelve step program and how it might be applied. i'd never thought of phobias being like addictions but i guess in many respects they are. will try to get hold of a copy of the book and read through it.
