I am intending to write a longer post when I am finally cured. I have been doing cognitive behavioral therapy on and off for a year, and I am seeing a lot of progress. I let the condition go untreated for 3.5 years until I finally couldn't take it anymore and got help. I am so glad I did it, and I wish I did it sooner, since the recovery process would've been shorter. I urge anyone who has this problem to get cognitive behavioral therapy and to do something to help themselves, since there is no logical reason why a person should have this fear and it gets in the way of so many things. Hopefully I'll post more detail later.
