Went out to ocean beach wairarapa today for the first time and quickly bagged 5 red cod. Nothing glamourous but the weather was perfect and I hadn't been catching much around wellington harbour so I was happy, one of those perfect days. Will definitely be spending a lot more time there and hopefully bag my first legal blue moki. Thanks to everyone who has offered advice over about the passed year, it is paying off more and more.
