When we left the beach the wind had risen and there was a small drop in temperature, there was also a hard current running toward the south. I am only guessing but perhaps that may have put them off the feed. My son-in-law and I fished the morning, we packed up at midday. Come to think of it the success I enjoyed on Tuesday was also during a morning session.

How's this for an obese red cod, I've just had it for my dinner. Floured, egg and Panko breadcrumbed, lovely white meat, absolutely delicious.
