Yoey has rang the council and put up there response on his facebook page. I dont think this is new. Some of it is a bit vague though. I always understood the idea was to protect the populated areas of the beaches from idiots screaming through them with vehicles, rather than fishermen heading in the opposite direction to fish in such areas as ocean. The thing that annoys me is that your servants the council don't consult local fishing groups before they act. Maybe they don't know we exist.
