Regarding Ocean Beach. I have spoken to the Regional Council, who actually have no control over Ocean Beach, and they along with the Hastings District Council confirmed that it is status quo regarding access. All they ask is that we respect the dunes and other beach users but we're fishermen and do that anyway. I will also add that this was another case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing.
