Caught a Kahawai yesterday at Mohaka had 2 whole baby lemons the size of a blackmagic fillet knife , an eel and a jap longline hook which had been tied on a ledger rig inside its guts. Another had 4 6 inch whole baby kahawai in its guts. Some monster work ups along Waihua, and so much baitfish unreal. The snapper were almost non existent only caught a couple, but im sure there thick out a bit further. Looks like little swell, so it'll be testing during daylight hours thats for sure, light change evening is the time. Side note I HATE STINGRAYS!
