Yep, tests were done in Foxton, Foxton Antarctica that is. Phill and I settled the guide spacings and cast the line right accross the Manawatu River at the Foxton wharf. mTry your range finder on that. And that was with a headwind and later a angled sidewind. WE consentrated on the guides which are Fuji C oval low riders. There was never a hint of any tangling or choking. Speed through the guides was supurb with no slack line that we could see. When these rods come on the market I am going to have some working demo rods for everyone to try without having to buy. Your first look at the guide set up (if you are not a competition caster) will have you wondering what it is that rod designers smoke. Once you try it you will want to change over any other rods you have. First cast you will think that you have broken off as the guides are silent (No friction ). You can expect to get a close look at these sometime before Xmas.
