Could care less about rodbags myself as the std ones that come with rods are very lightweight and really offer very little in the way of protection imho. When I am traveling a long way the rods will go into a heavy duty sonik bag just to keep them in one tight bundle but normal trips they just put in the wagon .

Guides getting broken is just a fact of life.
They are only bits of wire and ceramic after all.
