My main problem at present, is knowing (or finding out) where and when to fish for the Flatties.
More research is required.

Do they feed more at night?
Do they prefer clean or off-colour water?
Calm or choppy?
What area within Napier's beaches would be best?

I am assuming, (and I could well be wrong), that they would prefer calm water, sandy or muddy bottom.
I also assume they don't mind slightly dirty water as most of the UK videos I've watched feature muddy water.

When I have an idea When and Where to fish, I will experiment with baits.
At the moment I have no idea if the flounder are even present when I'm trying to catch them
