Hi Nick, they are if you catch one and your mate gets a snapper Green eye is the commercial name of a small school shark( is not a tope, but a close relation. They are usually about twice the weight of the average spiky dog.)It tastes ok if there is nothing better about but I don't bother with them later in the season when better eating fish are around.
