About half an hour after hitting the sack, I started to cramp up, so as I moved to try and relive the pain another part in my legs started to cramp and more intense than the last. Damn I might have to get out of the truck and walk it off, and I really didn't want to do that, when I was all toasty and dry. So I kept absolutely still so as not to stir up another muscle, thinking this isn't going to work, but it did.

Sunday morning the alarm goes off at 5am. I'm thinking that I don't feel to bad after the marathon session of wading. A quick coffee and we back the truck down to the water covering the the tracks from the night before.

Chris being Mr Organised had both rods in the water before I had one. I was in no hurry I wanted to make sure I put first bait out over the bar and and in the right spot.

Chris's rod went over first and he bagged another snap. My rod went over and stayed down, yeah...it was a good lump with that familiar thump. It seemed like an age, I had turned the fish and was coming to shore when I wound down again and pulled back on my rod just as the fish did another run... I felt the hook go Damn, bugger and all those other choice words... After winding in my gear, I had straightened another hook. Re-bait, wade and send bait another out.

The morning turned out to be another awesome session. Chris's far rod and most productive coming in once with out a fish on it. The time came to leave and we had to pack up, sort and clean the fish and quickly get back to weigh in at 10am.

More to come from the weigh-in and final results...
