New Inovative Distance Casting Rig Archived Message Posted by Hardy on 20/12/2011, 10:49 pm Hi All The other day a mate of mine sent me some gear for Xmas. Amongst it was some Imps. Took me half an hour to work out how they worked. And then it was down to business. Right, first thing, how to improve on the Imps lack of capacity to take a big hook and bait. Well that took all of five minutes. Hey I like these things, okay. Now how to make a very very streamlined rig, implimenting the Imp. Down to the drawing board. And its done. Its new and very inovative. A pully rig with a difference. But can also be rigged with a running rig, should you wish. Its been bench tested, with a 100 per cent release rate. Use any size hook you like, even a Size 8 on an Imp Clip. Now that is a big hook. Bait in flight sits back on the line, this rig will just love pillies. Well anything actually. But like all inventions needs to undergo sea trials. Which will be tomorrow. If you don't hear back from me, it will be a fail. But I am sure it will be a winner. And cast so far it will go out of sight.
