I know that times were different, people married earlier. But even by modern standards I just couldn't get it done.
People were manlier in those days too. The men, anyway. Working in steel mills and the railroad and shit like this. My father had a tattoo as well. It was a big Iron Cross on his wrist. He always wore a big watch to cover it up because although I assume it was just a German thing, it could be misconstrued as a Nazi thing. I mean, he was fairly racist but he wouldn't go out of his way to make racist comments. It was nothing gratuitous.
I remember a friend's dad using the word "pansy" and thinking how shocking and adult this was. It's kind of a word that's fallen out of favour, though. I don't think it was used in the "gay" sense, just in the "unmanly" sense. Perhaps that's why it's no longer in vogue. The Jew-controlled modern world has scrambled our collective sensibilities. Now it's cool for men and boys to wear dresses and if you're not cool with that, you're "transphobic".
My other friend's dad would go fishing and shit just by himself in the shitty lake near our home. No way would I do that. I can't deal with the fish and taking hooks out and all that. Even spearing the worms, there's no way.
Even yet another friend's dad, who was the nerdiest of bunch and worked in IT was a gruff guy. A huge jerk, really.
You were scared of all of these guys. But realistically, they were all little pussies who I could probably take on today. Even so, they were manlier men than I am. There's a real degeneration in humanity.
