Already a problem with this Glasgow trip. I called some places today to try to set up viewings for Monday but they're all closed. One recording mentioned a bank holiday but I checked this beforehand and there's no bank holiday that I can see.

It doesn't matter anyway because the earliest available train doesn't arrive until 4.00 so maybe there is a bank holiday.

So that's Monday wasted. But at least I won't have to rush and do a viewing right off the train. Still gives me four days. And there were like six properties just in one small area that were suitable and listed in the past two days so hopefully find something.

Weird pricing for the trains. Last time it was like £80 from London to Glasgow and £45 from Glasgow to London. This time it's like £65 London to Glasgow and £60 Glasgow to London. It works out the same but I don't know why this is.

And I tried to do just a one way so that if I find a place by Friday I could get a train on Thrusday for the Friday morning but the prices for a one way ticket were like £125. It doesn't make any sense. That's more than a return. Wait...maybe I put the wrong date...

Ooh. Yeah, that's what happened. I could have done that then. Well, maybe not. Well, the later advance tickets are all sold out but I could have got an earlier one. Oh well. For some reason the one I ended up getting is £132 one way and the earlier one is £80 so saved a bit of money anyway.
