Sports/casual/tracksuits already has a name: chav attire. I think "normcore" is something else. Something that's never taken off, fortunately. I mean the name, not the wearing of normal clothing.

I suppose that hipsters get attacked but I never heard of them having right wing views. I assumed that they were left wing with the granola eating and whatnot.

I remember a news item of two so-called hipsters opening a cereal restaurant in Hackney. These two brothers had identical beards and sounded posh and opened a restaurant in an impoverished part of London favoured by hipsters. So they got a lot of abuse by this by the mainstream media.

I found this very peculiar. They attacked the price of the cereal which was like £2 a bowl. This seemed very reasonable to me. And they had a bunch of cereal that they imported from the US. I was actually interested to check it out and thought it was a great idea but then it became a big media circus.

I don't lie awake thinking about hipsters but yeah, they're annoying with the gay beards and heavily tattooed women and the earlobe extenders and whatnot. It's really "try hard" (as the kids say) lavish attention on me stuff. Whatever their political opinions are, I don't know or care.
