You should realise that many on the Left have lost patience with people who prioritise revolt at the symbolic level above all else. Its shallow, ultra-liberalism masquerading as something fringe or radical, which it is not.*

Which is a political argument/criticism, rather than the 'Look at the f*cking state of this bellend' appearance based bullying that a few people on 'the left' (at least lefties on my Twitter feed - which of course is the be all and end all) have been engaging in.
